Closing in on two years for me, was a smoker for over 40 years, my last one was walking my dumb azz into the ER while having a mild Stroke. Sounds real out there but true. That was my last one.

Not saying it is/was easy, but I do believe that if YOU decide YOU want to quit YOU can get thru it. We are all different, I never would have thought I could quit.

Good luck! All the BS aside, best thing one can do for one's self.

+1 on the E-Cigs. The nicotine is the least of your concern when quitting smoking. It's the habit of it.

I've been on them for 6 years. Love it. It becomes a hobby in itself. New gear, new flavors, etc. (great for our addictive personalities). Haven't thought about an analog since the day I dropped them. I smoked 1.5 packs a day for 20 years.

I just inhaled 2 20 piece nuggets and a large fry....hmmmm whats for dessert???????

On 12-27-2014 it will be 2 years for me........I can't remember anniversary, birthdays or sweetest day but I remember the day I quit.

My wife and I have been on ecigs for a year and a half. It works. I smoked for almost 30 years.

We took that $hit and dam near killed each other - very strange behavior / strange moods out of both of us. I had very violent dreams - nothing happy or inspiring. We did quit smoking - and that lasted for over 1 year. ...then we were sitting on the beach in the gulf, having a few beers, and I said "it sure would be nice to smoke; huh?" She said, "yep". ...then we started smoking again.

The ecigs work - I work at a very large car company, and ecigs are almost all you see at break times. Its very acceptable socially, at least around here. So that helps.

Once you find the ecig flavor that goes well with a cold beer or your favorite mixer, it works good.

Jan 14 i put em down. I put $35 a week in a coffee can. I think there is over a $1400.00 in there now. On Jan 14 2015, i am putting it in a mutual fund for my new grand daughter. She was my inspiration to give em up.
