Wow! At this point I almost wonder which is the worst of the two evils......let it sit there and wait for a warm day to melt the ice (assuming the engine/outdrive already has damage) or go with plan B and trash the hull, prop, tabs, etc while you're at it!

His best bet would be to tie it tight to the dock, throw it in forward trimmed as high as possible and let the propwash do the work of the bubbler. Let her idle for half an hour and I bet it will break up the worst of it.

Blocks dont freeze that fast guys.... takes a few days in the 20's....
I cant say I never did this for fun we took a buddys center console out in Mentor lagoons on new years and chopped some ice, but it was a beater boat...
with a boat that nice I think I would have made sure it was out, or hire a crane at this point.

Yes Mr Mechanic, I only used the boat 1 time since you rebuilt my outdrive and it broke within a few minutes the first time out. You must not have rebuilt it correctly. I hope you are going to warranty it.
