A tilt trailer that can be used in salt water is actually a very new concept. Tilt trailers have historically been steel due to the hydraulics and the forces of the tilted boat during transport. Steel isn't very accommodating to salt and nobody wants to ruin their $100K trailer so they use marinas with fork lifts or cranes to launch their boat. This is just another example of the few folks that are actually putting money and resources to furthering powerboating! Kudos to Scott, Pier57, Mystic, Myco and the whole team!!!!

I have never figured out what the big problem is with just using stainless to build a trailer with instead of galvanized that if you are dipping the trailer on a regular basis does not last that long before it starts to rust
Stainless tube when I bought it years ago was not that much in the scheme of things and certainly not in a 100 thousand dollar trailer.
I bought some stainless square tube years ago and had Rocket build me some torsion axles out of it because I didn't like the fact that with the galvanized the torsion's would rust at the weld.It wasn't that much more and I bet those axles are still going strong 12 years later.
I used to dip my trailers twice a day 6 times a week they go to hell fast when you are doing that.
