Anyone have an idea about what time the first boats will be entering the Manatee River near Desoto Point? I was going to take the family out there, anchor up and watch everyone cruise by.

We'll be heading in there about 12:30-40

Sounds like there is also a run out of fort Myers (headed down to Marco Island) on new years day, which is the run to go to? Is this run headed up a river or is it open water running? Since the two are so close, why don't you guys combine the two runs for a better turn out?
