The Boys did a great job today . put some heat on a very formidable opponent in an unusually rough race.

I started exchanging texts last night at about 6:30 p.m. (PST) with John Tomlinson. It 7:30 a.m. on Friday there, and he was racing at 3:30 p.m. Texting became inefficient, so that led to a phone call last night. When I woke up, I had a voicemail from JT and photos in my email box from Randy Scism. In short, I had everything I needed for a story that happened today ... way over there.

Information technology truly makes it all possible. Sometimes it still blows my mind.
