You both handled that extremely well but I will say I recognize the look on your face when you go to shut the camera off. I have seen that look on my wife's face when she here's a loud bang or feels a bad vibration and the look is usually followed by the question "that just cost us a bundle of f#%king money huh?" . Sucks that had to happen. How's the rebuild coming along?

2 very impressive things to me about this video
1.) Getting your lady involved in the habit and she seems to really enjoy it.
2.) Obviously having enough money to support your sickness (based on your response to the breakdown)
That is impressive!!!

Thanks guys!
The rebuild.....well.....has snowballed into a pair of scratch built Whipple EFI engines! Just like my new "Unleashed" stickers turned into a complete boat restoration/customization/paint job!
Parting out the supercats in the swap shop shortly. Plan on starting a thread once we make some progress on the build. very excited though!
I don't know how I stayed so calm, probably because I just forgot my proposal line and was trying to keep from throwing the phucking ring into the lake! Best part is about 30sec after Kristy said "Yes" the next thing out of her mouth was, "so what are we going to do about the engine?" Wow am I a lucky guy, sorry I can't help but brag about her. If only I could clone her....
The best I can tell we spun a bearing. The Rod was just going for a 6000RPM joy ride after that. I am not sure if it was due to improper assembly or maybe not being rebalanced after someone changed the pistons while trying to detune them. We were running 94 octane and all gauges read perfect. Sucks but its just part of this addiction we have. Drugs would be cheaper that's for sure, with potential to make profit!
Excited for the new engines though! The boat handles, rides, and drives over the top amazing, combined with a canopy blocking the wind, actually made for a boring ride. So it will be nice to have more power! This video definitely keeps us motivated through winter! Thanks for all the support!
