I always loved the graphics on that boat. Seen it a few years back for sale. DON"T quote me on it but for some reason I remember it having some damage to it. I can't find any info on it now, just do your DD. Love the 40outlaw but scared of the 900's.
I had a 04 40outlaw with whipple 525 /725hp, it ran low 80.
Oil will not be cheap for ever!!!

900SC's are great engines, but they do have solid roller cams so make sure you're okay with doing some semi regular valvetrain maintenance if you're going to pull the trigger.

Are you thinking of the 40 that was dropped when being picked up with a forklift ?

Are you talking about the one in Buffalo NY (angola)? If so that boat belongs to a very good friend of mine. It runs very well. Has fresh everything. Runs 107-109.

Edit: Just looked at the pics, thats my buddys boat. We just detailed it and tucked it away in his heated garage for winter. Its available for viewing anytime.

It was also not the one that fell off the trailer. That one was an 05 named "Spotlight". http://bajaboatowners.com/threads/53...Spotlight-quot

I can send videos of it running if you pm me your number.

A 40 Baja will run 107-109 with twin 900's??? That sounds very fast for a 40 without steps and only 1800 hp.

I'd like to see the GPS of that boat going anything over 100 mph. And for the record I own a 36 Outlaw, so I am certainly not bashing it. I know personally how much power that hull needs to move into the 90's.
