There are so many choices it makes it tough. If you had to pick between these two which one would you choose?
Both are same year 2000, both have 454 Mag MPI, both are in near perfect condition.
Checkmate 270 Convincor or Donzi 28 ZX
thanks RB

IMHO I would choose the donzi. A lot less cookie cutter. They are a little better as far as interiors and handling. I believe the donzi would be a better wave boat. Checkmates are very light. That's just me. Both boats still =

Why 454 Mags in 2000 boats? The 502 mags were pretty much standard by then.

Try to find a twin SBC 28zx....you will be in your speed range. They are affordable and the fly nice.

BTW not sure where in Illinois you are, but come warm weather I would be more than happy to take you for a ride in my ZX to see how you like it.

I was trying to make an apples to apples comparison to see which boat was better liked, if I had said one had a 502 Mag that would probably make most people like that one better.
thanks RB

I don't believe the 28ZX was available with twin big blocks. Max was the 377 Scorpions as far as I know. But it's a 70+ mph boat with smalll blocks. I'd go with one of them for sure!
