I recently purchased a 15k hydro hoist and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience trailering one down the road without taking it apart? Is there a boat moving service that would move it? Looking for options?

We've moved several using a pontoon boat trailer but they still had to come apart.

How far are you going? I just did this a few months ago with a 14k lift from Cleveland to Columbus. Was just a few inches over 10' wide but towed it straight down I-71 without a second glance fron the road nazis.

A friend of mine has used my '38 foot long dove-tail low boy double car trailer to move his hydrohoists in the past. They were dis-assembled from the frame so there was no issue with wide load.

My equipment trailer I use is a low deck with some pretty high fenders. So to transport mine i stack some pallets at the front and back then run some 10' 4x4's across and use an excavator or hoist to lower it onto the trailer. I dont take mine apart, its big but not big enough to draw attention.
