Looking to buy a bar hopper
I am looking for a deep vee 22 - 24 ft inboard. No project boats or fixer uppers. Something like a Donzi or Warlock Euro... Not bigger or smaller. Classic looking not wild or extreme. 496HO - 525 with Bravo 1. No outboards. No Cats. 40K - 60Kish.
I have been searching classifieds for a while now. I am willing to travel for the right boat. [email protected] |

Looks like it needs a trailer but that fits the bill. Personally I would look at a 25 outlaw but if it HAS to be 24 or less then I would look at this Baja OR http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/32308 http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/32265 You live in WA so you know how well built the Mirage is. Of course no gafrig controls or drop out bolsters but great price! http://www.powerboatlistings.com/view/31511 |

I'm 20 miles downstream from you, where the heck is a bar to hop to, or are you referring to sandbars?
|
If you decide to go a little bigger I have a 98 27 World Class Warlock with a new 511 BBC]

I would love to sell my other boat. It's brand new with only 100 hours overall. 2012 Stingray 235CR. I will make a hell of a deal on it because all we use is the 405. If might not be exactly what your looking for but it's a great boat for bar hopping. I moved it to Florida because it's warmer down there it has been a fresh water boat all its life. If any interest let me know and I will tell you all about it. Don't worry about price because i will sell cheap, we just don't need it.

A 24 Superboat would be a good choice. You should easily be able to find a late model in your price range. Upper 70's with a 496HO.
|
pm me if your interested in a 2000 22 donzi classic. big block, gil manis, bravo. 120 orig hours.

There is a nice 22 ob Velocity listed in the classifieds. For some reason it is listed a 24 but it is a 22. Looks nice. If you want a little bigger my 280 (1998) is also in there.

a bit smaller and lower power... but nice package. |
Can't beat the 21 Sutphen for running around. It's a little boat that works incredibly well. 72.6 gps on bone stock Merc small block power. We love it.

that thing looks big for a 21, great lookin boat to
|
I agree that Sutphen is a great looking boat!
|
That Sutphen looks great...
Don't look past the Pantera though.. I had a 28 that took one heck of a beating and always stayed together... They are fantastic boats for the $... That white 24 would be a great boat... The 24s are much smaller than the 28 FYI.... but that 24 in the $30s looks like a great deal... How much for a 21 Sutphen? You really can't go wrong with a 22 Donzi.. It'll hold value better than a Sutphen or Pantera though... |
That Pantera 24 is Anthony's old boat and was done right. The Donzi's are "prettier" but they are not built as strong.
|
All great looking boats and I will buy something soon. Still looking.

The grey Donzi Shelby is Sold?
|
I love this thread, great boat suggestions, keep em coming.

Another fun ride you might want to consider is a Se Ray 22 Pachanga. They haven't been made in some time but there are a lot of real clean ones out there on lakes all over. We've owned this one for the past 14 yrs.
The 22 Pachanga is one of my all time favorites for a small boat. They are extremely well made and stand the test of time. It's got a real windshield that works very well on those cold nights and a little cabin that you can actually get a good nights sleep in. As for the 22 Donzi Classic, I bought one new back in the late 80's and did not like it. I found it too narrow for the length and it bow steered badly when the throttle was chopped. Don't get me wrong, I love Donzi Classics and have owned them all, 16's, 18's and the 22. I love the 18 Donzi, the 22 not at all. http://i817.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps1b15869a.jpg |
This... new, fast, warranty, fast.
http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...63#post2721963 Edit** Sorry, it's an OB. |
email sent.

24ft BAJA 1998 H2X S/C 502mag Bravo 249hrs total only 30hrs on the not cheap pro installed 630hp Vortech S/C package. Upgraded fuel system and new MEFI 111 computer system upgrades were also installed so everything is totally done right.
. Don't let the age put you off this boat is nice, shiny, great colors, nice interior, very clean and runs a 26p over 75mph like its on rails but will easily spin a 28p if a guy wants to go faster. We are second owners in Coeur d'Alene Idaho boat came from Havasu three years ago with 125 hours on it. Matching Road Runner trailer Full mooring cover and cockpit cover. Big stereo, 3 batteries, Only reason we are selling is we bought a twin screw Searay 300 floating condo so my serious fun boat is selling for only $27,500 |
A Donzi will have to be a Shelby. Not sold on that brand but that is the look and quality I am looking for. No project boats.
Thanks for all the help. Nice boats just not the right one. Yet.... |
Still looking. Have cash for the right boat. Not looking for a project boat.
