I'm surely in the minority here because I now own my first boat and although I have fun with it, I know if I were without it I would miss it a few key moments throughout the year but I wouldn't miss it too much. As long as I can take something apart, put it back together and it operates, I'm good, and that has now been done. I do understand because I have other interests that I would have a tough time living without.

I am sure that I could if I had to, however if the question was "Could I live without powersports"? then I would have to say hell NO!

I am 47 and have ridden motorcycles since I was 5. I'm on my second performance boat and my custom Harley has been sitting in my den since 2007. I never thought I would loose interest in riding motorcycles but I have for the past few years. I think the need for speed will pass in time, but, I have lived on the same lake my entire life and couldn't imagine life off of the lake with no boat.

Yeah, I know, I will eventually lose this battle, but I won't go down without a FIGHT!!

quitter,,take your boat and go get yourself another girlfriend.and when that one starts to squack,,getin your boat and get another girlfriend,,always upgrade once in a while.newer models always seem to a vast improvement over the last.:D

First let me say that I would be hard pressed not to be on the water - I really enjoy it

-- However, it's ok to have "things" as long as the "things" don't have you!!

It's just a boat

I could. Outside of the boat I gave all the other sh*t up. I enjoy going and watching the show but I am over the headache of owning it, the boat is enough of that for me.

Once that is gone I will focus on buying and redoing my home. I left all the cars, bikes, and what not in the past for the most part these days

I am waiting for Frickstyle's comment.... I was pretty much out of boating will working on mine for 4 yrs... It sucked not being on the water but I was happy to look at one! Short awnser, no, I could not live without boating... However this place does greatly help fill the void when needed!
