Mates of mine sent me these pictures today, fishing off port Lincoln South australia, pulling up the anchor they had this nasty looking dude with his teeth stuck in the chain...

And no this isn't photoshopped, have the go-pro video of it, and secondly yes that is a 9-10ft great white.

F-2 Speedy 01-17-2015 08:25 AM

It could of been some kind of electrical current, magnetic field being transferred down the chain to ground that was irritating it, so he tried to eat it, LOL

Very cool experience. The vibration of the chain in the water would attract him also. They will taste test.

Always felt that way about all those areas Great Whites hang out like Cali and S. Africa and Australia and than always felt really comfortable diving in the Gulf of Mexico .

Until last year when a couple divers off Sanibel Island took footage of a Great White below them

97FASTech 01-17-2015 11:18 AM

Holy Chit! Not a very friendly looking anchor biootch, even with the big smile!

I ain't buying it. A shark holding onto a chain dead still. No water moving around the body at all. I have caught sharks before, Drag them backwards thru the water or shot them in the head and once in awhile they start thrashing around 30 minutes later and this Whitie just hangs there. Na!!! So where's the Video?

tommymonza 01-18-2015 12:03 AM

The shark appears to be dead.

phragle 01-18-2015 01:15 AM

CAnt you guys figure out anything??? The waters deep there, the shark hooked its teeth into the chain so it could take a nap without sinking to the bottom. The sharks not moving because its sound asleep.
