I dont know if the channel is the way to go, it gets really rough in the channel with all the traffic, and then there's a ton of boats in and out of there to contend with, and it's deep. You might want to go to the side opposite the channel, but pull in between gull and harsens and walk it in, and find a nice sandy shallow area where no boats will be making wakes, or running your anchor over, then you can walk it back out till it's deep enough again. I always park on that side, since I was in the channel side a few years ago in my cat, and it got rough, and I had some gel repair to do from a boat that had the anchor pull out. That north side is more sheltered, and the north east side is less populated, but you'll be walking it in. no big deal, it's safe from damage there, and easy to walk it in and out from there as you wont get locked in by tons of boats all around you.

Rob, we are only staying until like 3, we're heading up to B.R.S's place near Lexington. I'm sure you could tie up with us. Boyd will have a good eye on the boat I'm sure.

Stac, I'm sure we'll have a blast. I'm screwed with weddings the following 2 weekends. Good way to screw up the last few Saturday's of boating weather.
