With Winter in South Florida becoming unbearable we decided to brave the elements and take out the 46' Skater TomCat. :drool1:

Here is a short video from yesterday running between Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton. It was horrible. LOL

Me and Bill Pyburn ran side by side from Gilberts to Key West at 120-140 in 4-6's in November. Not that much fun. LOL. But I think we made it there in 40 minutes

Yep, we went out of Hillsboro inlet, south to port Everglades and then north to Boca Inlet and back. Lauderdale to Boca in about 9 mins. :flag:

I remember Tom Cat when Tom Abrams got it built and it was a 10 then and still is a 10. I would like to see a video with Tom Abrams driving Tom Cat again with Ron Szolack and see what Tom thinks about the boat with the new 1350's.

It's for sale with or without power. The 1350s are still under warranty.

How fast do those iceboats go?

The one in the video is sort of a beginners model and probably wouldn't run more than mid 30's. The group I sail with gets into the upper 60's. No gas, no oil, no prop selection issues just good sailing skills and some balls ! Mine here.[ATTACH=CONFIG]536295[/ATTACH]
