I don't know if I'm allowed to post this here but I'm going to try. If the mods need to delete this thread, then so be it.
My wife and I know the tragedy of losing a son, we almost lost more of our family.
A small miracle happened yesterday morning in our family. Our 28 year old son and his wife, were awoken by a stranger beating on the door at 3:00 am, only to find their home fully involved in a fire.
The two of them managed to save all three children (1,5,and 9) and the family pet before the home began to collapse.
We didnt find out until later in the day that all of them required treatment for smoke inhalation, but will be fine. Just a few more minutes, and no one would have answered the knocking at the door. But for the Grace of God we would have lost another son, a daughter in law, and three precious grandchildren.
This is a total loss for this young family. The community at large is being overwhelmingly generous with donations. Temporary housing and basic needs have been addressed.
If anyone here would like to make a donation to a good cause, I will provide the link. These kids lost absolutely everything they have and will greatly appreciate anything you feel compelled to give.
Thank You Lord for sparing the lives of this sweet family.
Please check your smoke detectors as soon as possible.
