^What he said. It's possible, of course, but shocking if true. Boats- even super power boats- struggle to crack 100mph. For a boat that size, I would not have expected 2700 hp to be nearly enough for a 186mph top speed. Water is really very dense, draggy stuff.
I guess I was drunk at the LOTO shootout in 2013 when even a pontoon boat got near 100
