There are many old "resin buckets" with big power out there running the same speeds and slower but yet get priased by many here.
So not sure your point. It takes HP to get moving no matter what. That is not some new found magic of today's time.

My point is I dont find it surprising at all that a new boat with the latest design and technology , 1600hp and a price tag of I am guessing a half million dollars runs 97mph.. That is all..

Anything new cost a LOT of money, not sure why that is a point of anything. A new wake board boat clears well past 6 figures .....no new or shocking insight there.

Hi!
Here is a picture from The Hull Truth Forum of a Nor-Tech with the new engines.. What we see are the new Sportmaster lower units. And from the picture they seem to be "coned" HD 5,4 inches Verado Poseidon lower units. I was hoping for 4,8 dia Sportsmasters. However, the standard HD 5,4 dia lower unit has a "blow out" limit around 85 mph. So a Sportsmaster will be good for the fast ones
