Congrat's Shane!! I know it's been a long time coming!!
Hey, if everyone ends up going to the Omaha Shoot-Out then I might have to drive up on Friday Night and back on Saturday afternoon just to get back in time for a wedding I have to go to! |
Shane - Your boat looks GREAT!!! Glad you're back in the water.
|
Shane the boat looks awesome! i was actually looking for it over the weekend. i had seen your earlier post about what does ssherman, jessie james and bud light have in common, figured that this was the big weekend. although i missed it this past weekend im sure ill see it down there some time in the near future still alot of season left. the interior really looks sharp along with the paint. were is crp located at the lake? and who did your paint? did you go back with stock 500s rebuilds or any modifications? hope to see you soon
later dave hughes |

Shane, that thing looks tight as hell bro!!! One question. Why is the back bolsters so small? It looks like theres plenty of room they could've pushed the rear bolsters back a little bit.
By the way, I like the "Havasu Heat Wave" poker run shirt in picture 5....It's good to see someone keeping LOTO alive with a Havasu shirt:p ;) :D Tank |
Shane, it turned out great. I couldn't beleive my eyes as I saw you guys go flying by Sat. How did the stereo turn out? I will definitely have to take a closer look at the lake sometime. The dash truned out bad ass. Congrats.

Behind the back bolster is a little hatch and underneath that is where the "BIG DADDY" cooler goes.... so it is easily accessible and strapped down at all times. I asked Shane the same question about the rear bolster and his answer was if they can't fit they can't ride.... you can read between the lines can't you [ NO FATTIES ON THE BOAT!!!!!!!] :p :D :D It is not as tight as it looks.... Mini-me.. OOPs, JBK (Chad) fit back there just fine....:D |
Shane, the boat looks awesome, I like your trailer too, good luck to you and see ya at the THUNDER RUN:D
|
Shane, awesome boat! Those engine certainly look better there than the did on the floor of Grunninger's shop.
Nice job. Do you still have that stripped SH? Is that your next project? |
O.K. I have to ask!! What up with N-Lo pimp'n out with 3 time pieces??
|
Looks Great!!!! Colors are awesome!!
|
Shane, looks great, I'm sure it will run as well:D
Being at the bottom of the hill with a project it gives me energy to see someone reach the pinnacle and shout out over the valley:D Have a great time with it and beSAFE!!! |
Bad Ass!
Shane
JJ looks great, I'll look for you at LOTO so I can check out those seats and paint in person! Congrats, Rob |
Shane, My Super Hawaii is working out great! I've ran her to 4 different states on Lake Michigan this summer. I'm still getting used to driving her in bigger waves. Yesterday we were out with 3' swells and 2-3' waves, every now and then those 2 would match up with me for a 6' wave or hole. The faster I run the smother it is. a few times we were in the air for a good 3 seconds! Nice and flat, with a soft landing.:)
|
Lutz and I are thinking about the Omaha thing; the only problem is he's having knee surgery the day before.:( Just don't know how much it will set him back. He's usually a trooper about that stuff but we're gonna think about it for now.
If not....definately let's try the sardine place, babe!!! :D |
LOL Shane!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Originally posted by Jesse James Tank, thanks bro I cant wait to cruz the channel at the poker run next spring....Tbone hit the nail with the cooler in the rear hatch and I also didnt want to modify the boat majorly from stock, so that if the next buyer didnt like the 6-pack it could go back to stock for about 3k. The back is tight but i managed to squeez my big butt in there. I wanted it a little tighter for the ladies so I didnt have to pusy foot around with them inthe boat. My 28 skater was a terrifying backseat ride and i didnt want anyone to be scared. |
Looks real good shane. Glad to see all the hard work has paid off for ya

Martinis
Did I see my wife mentin Martinis. I thought whe swore off those. Shane you are such a bad influence. :D :D :D The cab thing may be a good idea.
Man What a sharp boat. Looks like a lot of BS&T went into it as well as $$$. I cant wait to see it in person, hear it and ride in it. Did I mention to you that Im also an excellent driver. Especially after some martinis. heh heh heh We have talked about the Omaha run and will try and make it. Im not sure what kind of shape i will be in after surgery on that Friday. They are going to try and to the whole procedure with the scope but may have to lay it open to do some more repairing. So we will just have t owait and see on that front. Really Really Nice job on the boat dude its looking awesome:D |
Shane,
What a sweet looking ride!!!! Is your name and the boat's name (Jesse James) A tribute to the late great offshore racer Jesse James? PS. are you going to be at the Harbor Hop Oct. 12th? I'd like to her up close. |
yo tank any dates on that event?
|
tank youout there bro
|
Sorry Shane, I've been gone all day.
I'm 99% sure the dates are the first weekend of October...Like somewhere right around the 4th. Get out here man. I think a bunch of guys from scope are going again. Tank |
Thanks tank any idea on a web address or anything?
|
Yea, the web page is arizonahotboats.com It's "Lakeracers" web page. There should be the exact info on that web page. It should be almost the size as the April one you went to. The fall one is usually just a bit smaller. But still a killer time!! Get out there and bring JJ!
|
River girl here it is sweetie!!!!!! I cant wait.
|
Sweet!!!!!!
You have one beautiful boat. All I can say about the paint is WOW! The interior turned out great. Didn't I read a post a while back about this boat being for sale. Dude it doesn’t get any better! Dan |
Originally posted by Jesse James Let me check the schedule.....But I have only one question will Kelly be leaving the glitter at home:D :p Dude I'm rollin!!! LOL!! Just to set the record straight...Although Kelly is guilty of bringing that stuff ("Diamond dust" she tells me) It was Norts niece that popped it open in Norts boat(s) and in Kenny's Tiger!! Kelly said to tell you what ever the answer is to get you out there thats what she'll do;) :D So get out here brother! Tank By the way, She tells me you were asking to have it put on you! Glitter boy!! |
Boat looks sweet! Why does N-Baggio have three watches on?
|
STUNNING!!!!!!! a once in a life time boat for sure
|
Okietunnel, I asked the same thing and didn't get a response! Maybe she secretly works for the Govt. like the FBI or CIA or something and they can't tell us!?
|
Originally posted by Jesse James Funhome sounds cool but you have to bring the megaphone......The 3 watches were n-lo holding them while we checked fluids and such so with 3 pairs of shades 3 cell phones and 3 watches she was definatly bling blinging:) jbk |
ssherman - Very Nice Looking boat, but I got to ask, "What's with the girl with the (3) watches???". Sorry, just had to ask.....Wardey
|
Went for a ride on Jesse James this weekend, and all I can say is WOW! It was a hit everywhere. I couldn't even keep count of the compliments on the graphics. It made a nice on-chore pulling into the Toad Saturday night as Shooting Star was leaving the stage.
Sunday the water was pretty calm, way too calm for this machine. It was my first ride in an AT, and I was very impressed. Nice flat ride attitude, didn't require much trim at all. Felt like a sunday drive in a convertible caddy. But my face still hurts from hitting the sudden rain shower at 80mph!!!  Ouch! No problem though, Shane pops on the helmut and away we go! (as Tbone & I are ducking below the dash -- uh I mean watching the guages & gps, LOL!) Thanks for the ride bro, you have one Bad A$$ machine. |
thanks shorty....anytime on the ride.......that helmut was the best 15 bucks i ever spent. :D
|
looks good S!!!!...hey tell your friends where they can get a AT cheap;)
|
Do I get a closer look? Or is 1/2 mile off my port at 60mph as close as I'll get.
Going to the lake this weekend? Gary |
I havent decided on this weekend tet but if so I will give you a shout.......I just talked to a friend about doing some photo's on the boat and we may do it this weekend. if i do i will look you up.
