How about the Falcon Marine engines? I cant find much info on this engine builder and doesn't seem to be in business anymore.

Who ever built original boat with paint&power had deep pockets and built to his taste!Case in point still not sold!Go for the Cig with the 525's more realistic and easy to sell if stock!My 02:rolleyes:

John O'Loughlin from bay gas owned this boat cool paint job. Ran very good back than.

When boat was owned locally owner performed all engine maintenance himself including rebuilds.

That Outerlimits looks like a great deal, but I'm sorry - that is one hideous paint job!

I have been looking at this boat for sale for while now and it seems like a lot of boat for the price.
I am very close to buying a Cigarette Gladiator so im curious how comparable the two boats are.
How much of a pain in the as* will be maintaining the 1200 supercharged engines? Im confident with the maintenance of the Gladiator with the 525's being similar to my 500's in my Formula.
How about docking and low speed handling in lagoons with big HP in this model?
Realistic rebuild hours and cost if not pushed hard?

I'll never forget vacationing with my ex-wife at the Sanibel Harbour Resort in Fort Meyers years ago and watching a 46 Outerlimits get dropped in the water from dry storage. I believe it was a staggered 1075 boat. The boat had to make a 180 degree turn around in tight quarters to leave the marina break wall area. I couldn't believe how much throttle the captain gave the drives in opposite directions to turn the boat around on a dime. It was one of the coolest docking maneuvers I've ever seen. I think Cigarette makes a great boat but that Outerlimits you're looking at is badass! FYI I have an 800HP carbed blower motor and it will idle until the gas tank is dry with no problem.

Why do people ruin gorgeous boats wtih horrendous paint jobs with stupid cartoon figures and dumb sayings on the side?
