I was told through some other people that frisina was supposed to build Alweiss a boat in exchange for representation, is this true Mike and did you ever get your boat? If not, did you get your compensation? As an aside, its not illegal to barter, just things that make you go hmmmm.

It is rumored that the 32 molds that Skater40 gained through the courts were to be used for his boat. The boat was in production and was scheduled to get diesel power ( again second hand info). The diesel company wanted nothing to do with the project due to questionable structural integrity ( again, not first hand information given to me). If I am incorrect please feel free to give me and the OSO community the correct information. Skater40 may have possesion of the boat or it may be hidden somewhere with my boat and the Vendetta that OCM got screwed on . That is a boat that OCM had to refund an overseas customer after a couple YEARS of little to no progress. That case may be going to litigation too ( I heard through the rumor mill).

They must be expecting some heavy law suits coming their way to retain counsel for that amount of consideration. Maybe it's just cheaper to deliver as promised?

Frisina did tell me personally that he sends Mike A ten thousand a month all year for services. Probably the only thing he pays lol. But he also told me personally that Peter at Skater and Mike Fiore were begging him to buy their companies. I did find that one pretty humorous!!

Not really, when you look at cost vs retail. I dont pretend to know profit margins on any boat company, but actual costs vs msrp tend to be very different ;).... on another note i really dont expect Mike A to answer these questions on compensation in a public forum, as i said its not illegal to barter just curious if he ever got his boat.

I own a business. I've owned it for 15+ years. I've never retained legal counsel, I've never even had to consult one with the exception of initial set-up processes/reviews...I deliver as promised and operate with integrity. If there is an issue I settle up civilly face to face which is exceedingly rare. My industry is litigious, construction/remodeling. It can be done.

BTW...I've successfully purchased boats, all of them out of state with no counsel, I've ordered new boats as well also out of state and have had successful deliveries without counsel. It can be done.

I asked that same question in this thread (somewhere past the middle of the thread) and Mike A. answered "he got too busy" to continue the build process (meaning Mike, not Tony).

There was talk at the AC show about the possibility of this boat being used to produce new tooling and the owner was to get a boat out of the deal . I haven't spoken to the owner in years but he really has nothing else to lose being this boat was stolen from him and was all cut up by the time it was recovered.
