Maybe it is time for Matt Trulio to do a follow up article and possibly a "Consumer Protection" Column on his Speed on the Water website/magazine. A journalist could really dig into the outstanding lawsuits in FL, NJ, etc and see what the claims in the lawsuits are. The boat buying industry definitely needs to be protected from manufacturers like this. Just looking at TF's/Arrow/Sonic default judgment plus outstanding lawsuits it would protect many buyers. Anyone know Matt personally and can mention it to him?

I have been on OSO for several years but always logged in under my EX's name..... rather not discuss as bad break up. My situation is I have been screwed by 2 manufacturers over my boating career and feel for Chuck and the other victims.

From everything i have read from Matt over the past 5 or so years. He does not seem to dig into people's dirty business. He seems to bring good positive articles about the boating industry. Not the type of reporter that gets the door shut in his face.

I know you love your Sonics, but if Chuck doesn't get his boat or a full refund from them soon, then your old lady & me were thinkin that you should get another Formula...

that would be fine and dandy if the boat industry were all rainbows and butterflies. Reporting should and 100% be the truth. What happens if someone reads those articles and thinks that the new sonic company is doing great? Do any of us think for one second that Tony would be honest and forthright with that info? Face it, we all know that chuck wont get a penny from tony now because this is all over the boards and from the texts ive seen he is a vindictive lil prick, if he was a man of any integrity he would have handled it in the beginning, not left the vendors for the new boats having to file judgements to get paid.

as a disclaimer for matt, he can report on anything he chooses. My opinion is everything should be brought out.

So I figured I would post an update as to the status of the boat I had built and paid for. As stated in a previous post by another member Frisina sold my boat to another customer. The other day the customer tried to register the boat with a tag and title service in NJ. The title service was unable to complete the transaction because the MSO was assigned to Oregon Custom Marine and a bill of sale from Frisina ( which is a whole other issue). The MSO would need to be assigned from OCM to the customer, not just a bill of sale from another entity. Now why would one do this?? Now for the sake of fellow board member Mike A ( Frisina's lawyer), let me state that this is speculation on my part. Frisina knows it was wrong to sell that boat which I have the wire transfers to another customer but by making the MSO out to OCM he makes it appear that OCM is committing the frauds here. Needless to say when the title service called OCM he refused to be any part of this continued fraud. My thanks to Tim at OCM!! Another interesting point is that when I had a fellow member posing as a customer Frisina was trying to fire sale the boat for 225K. This customer has a bill of sale for under 100k. Now even selling it for under 100k is ok since he owns it for practically nothing but the customer appeared rather nervous after the conversation between the title service and OCM was relayed to her. Now again this is my opinion but can you say Tax Fraud!!! Now one more thing that as a help to Mr. frisina, I think that Mike A should remind him that changing that HIN at this point and MSO would be another crime.

So unless ocm and you sign off on this boat it is 100% unable to be registered, unless the mso and hin are changed?Wow talk about painting yourself into a corner, now i assume the buyer will be wanting a refund?
