If someone is worried about people thinking they are cheating, they should run open class so things like alum. flywheels, warmed up ecm's, shaved drives etc don't matter, of course one still would need to hold their line at the start and know where the turn bouys are... Yahoo....you are clueless.....I have been following there advancements for the past 6-7 years, it was not 3 years, as an era.

Doc and Forehand have raced for 6 years, and have 5 world championships in 3 different race boats
Saratoga Stampede, beat the Cat Killer and fleet in the V Extreme Class in 2009
Watch Your Back ( SVL) in 2011
then consecutive for the Snowy Mountain Brewery Boat in 2012, 2013 and 2014

They never lost a race to Miklos/ Gary Decluces, in over 5 Years .

You are missing the big picture here....

I think they raced the first race of the season( again dominated) in Port Charlotte, and again at the end of the season...
Why would a team show up , when consecutive winning checker flags calculates to more parity..... that is not racing.

While you may believe the word was used inappropriately in this case, the actual usage (by the above definitions) was correct by both the primary and second definitions. I accept that is not the word you have used had you written the piece. Word choice is one of things that makes one writer different from the next.

As for the words I'll use when the likes of John Tomlinson, Gary Ballough and Steve Miklos retire, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find them. But I appreciate the input.

Does it include the Lance Armstrong motor?

You're right. He ran the old Sun Print for what, 10 years? Given all the time and thought he put into the new one, I expect him to run this one twice as long. :)

If you took two identical motors Steve prob would prevail. Look what happened to the fountain. Went from always winning to mid pack boat. I m not insinuating a cheater motor just not the same as everyone else. Its what's wrong with the class. Why not make it a class where everyone runs the same exact motor? No options period. Doesn't have to be a Merc.
