The new team at Spectre Powerboats is hard at work on its new 32 GT Widebody it expects to debut at the Desert Storm Poker Run next month.

Gary smith leased the molds to frisini then got them back after some court proceedings. He then sold them to the current owner.

I hope the momentum for them continues. I've always liked the spectre line. Great boats at decent prices.

I looked at the boat at the Miami Convention Center. It was definitly a nice cat!

In another thread everyone is bashing Frisini and the boats he built, then in this thread people are saying "Nice cat" etc.. At the show the "new" Spectre guys were talking about how great the boat, had videos of it running and were telling me how well built is.....Frisini Built the boat a few years ago!!!!!!!

The new owners likely didn't take someone's money without delivering a finished boat.

I guess that's the difference.
