Default NEED INFO For SHIPPING

For the past 25 years I had a really good connection for shipping engines, outdrives and large heavy items. Anyways my friend is retiring.. I need to ship marine engines out of state so I need another source. Also a lot times I need a shipper that has a lift gate. The current shipment is going to a small town in GA. Any ideas who to use that is reliable, dependable and not over the top for shipping charges. Thanks I really need to find this company ASAP. I am in FT. Worth & Arlington area of TX.

I have had really good luck with Freightquote. Call and talk to a salesman, do not do the online quote. FYI they will negotiate to a point.
It's always cheaper to drop off at a terminal, but they can send a truck with a liftgate also.

I used Freightquote.com as well to ship about 650lbs of engine parts from Illinois last month, great service, can do whatever you need done. I had them picked up and dropped off at my home shop with lift gate. Seth Taft was my contact.

I used to use freight quote, but switched to Unishippers. Average 25% less. And I find it interesting that they use the same shipping companies. I am in Chicago, hopefully they can help you in Texas.

Call around today used up about half the day doing so because this will be a something used more than 1 time.. Thanks for the info and I like freightquote and are using them Thursday. They were a more than half the price of the next closest price and 75% less than some. Just posting the info for whomever as a good source.
