95 Victory hull remains in Qatar - still rigged for Lamborghini's
96 Victory hull (ex Spirit of Norway) is in America now fitted with Mercury 1650's
9 Victory hull - the spare boat is now the 613 in America and now fitted with Mercury 1650's and is being tested today - raced in 2012 Key West as 96 with unrestricted Lamborghini engines and 4 speed gearboxes

And there you have it. And I think that was in the story and (relatively clear) until Marc Granet started throwing "95" around. and making me crazy. Two 1650-powered 41-foot Victory boats, plus the turbine 50' Mystic, are in the team's shop in Orlando.

Thanks, Steve.

its Pete - Steve is out playing boats

Just to put a spanner in the works - There was also another class 1 boat built by Nicolini - converted to a pleasure boat - that was the pace boat at the Qatar Cup

Just heard from Steve ... heard it was pretty long day of laptop, calibration, testing, followed by laptops, calibration and testing, followed by ...

Glamorous stuff. As for the spanner, I'm not touching that one, Pete.

Pete I thought we had both 95/96 at the AMF shop (Mateos and Ali's boat. 95 ) when the canopies where rebuilt ..95 had the rakes on the steps correct? Was this sent back to Qatar?

Yes, this was a Nicolini (Mateo) version of the Victory 41. Slightly wider tunnel. Picture is Hassan and I running it as the pace boat in the Q Cup last month. The Qatar based crew (Italian boys) re-rigged her beautifully. .

Pete...put the spanner down.

Yes Marc both 95 and 96 where in your shop in (was it 2010) but both where shipped back to Europe for the 2011 Class 1 season and there was a third spare boat, after new paint the 9 boat went to England, then to Qatar and then to Key West where it raced as 96 in 2012

Thanks, Steve.
Any idea exactly where in Orlando the race shop is? I`am going to Orlando for vacation the last week of April and would love to check out the boats. Thanks
