I love these lines. Great company also. I would recommend NOT getting the names printed on them. It will rub off. Embroidery would be a better option.

Agree, I paid extra for the "art" to be made and was disappointed as it rubbed right off. Also, the lines faded pretty bad. I will order some new ones soon from somewhere else.

Cheap, but I guess you get what ya pay for.

I think you need at least two long ones (Like 3/4 the length of your boat) to use as spring lines when doing a 4 post tie up..

Agreed good quality and a fresh start up, much more of this kind of thing needs to happen. Small yes but still refreshing.

I now have 1/2" lines from them. I got a good 8+ seasons out of my 5/8" lines, and they are still on the boat for backup use, just tucked away. A few frayed in spots just a tiny bit, and I broke one; which is why I bought all new.
Just to clarify, my lines came from MyRope.com.

How do these compare to the lines you can buy at West Marine. WM has a sale on lines this weekend For comparison
WM
SEAFIT White Economy Three-Strand Dock Lines Economy Three-Strand Dock Line, 1/2" Dia., 25' Length, 5,700lb. Breaking Strength -$12.99
Premium White Nylon Line, 1/2" Dia., 25' Length, 7,500lb. Breaking Strength- $22.74
Premium Black Nylon Line, 1/2" Dia., 25' Length, 6,800lb. Breaking Strength- $25.34

Maddog- 1/2" x 25' Dock Line $15.49
What is the breaking strength of the Mad Dog lines?

I just purchased lines from Mad Dog lines, and they were a much higher quality look at least than those at West Marine. Place a order online, after I placed, they sent out a personal e-mail thanking me and inquired about the boat I had and everything. Very nice people, nice to work with a company like that.
