Hope I can afford dyno when done.....maybe if I hit the lottery I can bring them to Chicago for a weekend of dynoing....

I think you may be breaking balls with that post ^^^^^^^^, but to me, putting your engines on the dyno is a no brainer. Whatever your guy charges, its money WELL spent. Even if just to catch an oil leak before engines are installed in the boat, say an oil pan gasket leak......its priceless not to take an engine back out for a stinkin oil leak! Not to mention all the test data you gain about your engines.

Around here it's about $500 a motor to dyno.

Same here . I paid 500 or 600 don't remember. Full day of dyno use. I bring the gas. We don't dyno with race fuel like some shops I've seen. If I use ethonal 93, that's whats going in the fuel cell.

Dan how fast does " Carpe Diem " run or is that a secret ? It looked like you where moving pretty good in that video on the river.

Pretty sure ray is at 500 tim.
He told me to add about 100 because of the dry sump.

I'd try like hell to scratch up the dough for it. With the money you have in those engines at this point, I think it's good insurance.
