Nort,
Wrong boat, that was from two seasons ago Milfords link is the right one. I still like the one you posted I always thought that thumb print in the background was cool.

Scott,

I told Nort to post those pics. Rob sent them to me a while back in reference to a different thread. But I thought they should still be posted because they are killer pics.

That is Rob's old boat as Scott said. And the new one is the picture Milford posted the link to. I must say, Rob has some good taste in boats.

Rob, whens the next Gun coming hmmmm? Or should I say Tiger??!!

Some clarification......
I don't know the boat but I do know that bridge as I live in Marathon.
The sections of the old 7-mile bridge in Marathon, that the Lincoln commercial was done on is the same sections that the APBA had as their spectator area and the same sections that the SBI boats raced under.
The island of Pigeon Key can be seen briefly in the commercial and that is where the old bridge leads
Since both race events, politics has entered the picture and the DOT has stepped in and said the bridge is unsafe, and has CLOSED THE BRIDGE.
This jeopordizes ALL events for future use which would include both races for next year.
The only people benefiting now is Pigeon Key - which leases the bridge from the county ( for pocket change) and gets all money from commercials etc.
And who I believe didn't like the idea of anyone using it but them!
Just F.Y.I............stay tuned........Pat

Default LS commercial

Tank,
Thanks for figuring how to post the photos of the "old" Rice Hauler IV a great boat to be sure but it dosen't hold a candle to the present Rice Hauler V.
There are a few pics in the reader rides section of OSO I think courtesy of Milord.
The Lip Ship website has all the details on the commercial. All I really did was let the Ad Agency rent the boat.
It is amazing to me the "legs" that this ad has had. people are still seeing it and coming up to tell me about it. It has been airing for over 5 months now.
I am humbled by all the kind words but the credit really goes to Phil at Lip-Ship and his great painter Harold Currier . He's really the man who made the ideas I gave him into reality.

Best to all

ROB..

Rob,

I'm having dinner with Chet Thursday night. Hopefully we'll work out a date to get back out there with the Fl powerboat club for a run. I'll let you know what we work out.

Again, when's the new boat coming hmmmm??? Tiger??
