T2x,
Thanks for the response to my first question. I take it that you are gracefully bowing out of answering my question about the Skaters. In all due respect to you and Skater, I can appreciate your loyalty in trying not to plant any negative seeds about such an admired product and company. Nor was that my attention to. I just wanted to know if a superior design such as a skater has been perfected to alleviate the porpoising at high speeds that is apparant in many cats. I would love to own a Skater one day. They are state of the art, in speed and construction. My point being is if a design can be tweaked to alleviate this problem or if this is an Aero/hydro thing that just cant be improved upon.

Not "gracefully bowing out" of anything..................I can't do anything gracefully.

My 28' Skater has no lope above 40 mph. The 36 Skater I was in Sunday....ditto. I have seen an occasional lope on Skaters on the Race course, but all seemed to occur when planing or accelerating at race starts.

Listen, if I'm open and honest enough to admit my Shadow cat's warts, Im certainly not going to cover up Peter's. He just doesn't have many.
