@speedracer what do you mean lots of horse power? i dont want a lot of maint and provlems so was think about a pair of brand new 383 chevrolet crate engines.
now do the engines or drives counter rotate? or are there a lot of inboard powered apaches out there, which is preferred i/o or inboard for less maint? yhx

Island liver, I'll try to help you quickly (before you flame out). You came on the biggest offshore site and you smashed nearly ALL the buttons in your first post. Apache's are legendary boats...most of which have a very traceable history and have either been refurbished or retired. They aren't "first time" powerboater material even if you have the resources and funds to find a pure pleasure model. They aren't called "runabouts" and they aren't considered just "OK" rough water boats. Don A. is not a movie star (Google it). No one here would be caught dead in a Bayliner, a Snailboat, or anything with twin 350 IROC power. Darr is a douch bag who makes an existence out of questionable "first posts" like yours, under various screen names. If you're truly trying to educate yourself in this area I would suggest you start over. Just tryn to help. Good Luck.

Bajahahahahaha EASY LUCKY, EASY.

Don't kill the messenger Sailor (or make threats). I typed it really slow hoping you'd catch on. Try reading it again. I really am only trying to help.

Flame out = Whats going to happen to you and this thread once "drinking hours" commence.
