I think he was asking 225 now its at 195, its an awesome 41 but i would rather have allez vite! as that boat is the best set, up fastest apache 41 there is and its 120 or offer if it didnt sell, its not in the oso classifieds any longer? U could put in a 1/4 cabin for a lot less than the price diff between it and tonto, i think id rather have a pr of tommies engines but gellners no slouch...
Crack pipe? Ok u buy a pr of tommies 980 hp engines new, whats that set u back 80? 90k
U buy a pr of trannies, u buy a pr of fresh 6s, u get it painted, u do the interior, u buy exhaust, props, and rig it at a quality shop, u buy a trailer to put under it, then u put some trick mags and ss disc brakes on the trailer...etc etc etc. Yeah he is nuts asking 195 for that pos... wake up brah that boat is so clean! u have no idea, pivs font do it justice, ive seen it a few times at tommies its amazingly sano...
Now paleface the 47 apache with trip 1050 is. on ebay ! Wtf

Robert's 41 TONTO is by FAR the best 41 there it is. I've ridden many times and unless you have ridden it, yiu wouldn't understand. Yea it's a 20plus yr boat but it's an Apache (not knocking at all) not a Saber. Is it going to sell tomorrow no as it is for that "specific" buyer but who ever that may be is getting an amazing CLEAN SPOTLESS boat. You can see your teeth out of the engine room. No money spares open check book REAL rough water machine. That boat belongs in Michigan, not Miami, Lanier and so on. This boat starts to wake up in real 3ft and said starts as it loves to be in the real 5-7 ft swells.

Same owner owns 3 boats listed on Ebay (41 Apache Jester, 47 Pale Face, 48-50 Aluminum Cat "Dirty Laundry").......he also owns another 41 Apache, a Bertram Race boat and a 46 Skater.

There seems to be 2 categories of Apaches.....
1. High priced
2. Low Priced, needs work.....then it gets sold, redone and it is back in category 1!
I can think of two running 41's that were sold on OSO and got taken apart to start the ultimate restoration never to see water again (Jay's 41 and Razz). Sadly they hit a tipping point (starting cost + redo costs = total........but in the end: resale < total costs)

Apaches are legendary.....no argument but in reality these 2 Cigs would be just usable for 99% of annual boating for 1/3 of the asking prices of some of these Apaches:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o54212-en.html
the other was Plumbers Crack's 97 38 TG for 65K.......ad must have expired.
All of the above burn the same amount of fuel, all have well qualified offshore capabilities/ same looks/sounds, with the Cigs they are newer and you will have 100K+ left over! They will surely be easier to sell (lower price point) than the Apaches.
