The new OSO classifieds are all screw up why not stick with the old

I agree! Its hard to read, terrible layout. Who the hell would think that is an improvement?

Can't read the text with the blue background.

Not user friendly, hard to read and why no way to get back to the forum?

IB is working on the kinks. Please post screen shot of things that are not working or that need to be fixed. We already know about the color, some are seeing a white background and some are seeing a blue background.

just bring it back to the old style. that worked perfectly and was easy to navigate

There were plenty of issues with the old Classified section not working properly when trying to place ads and upload pics.

Give it some time and see what happens. I'm also seeing the blue background and its difficult to read.

I liked the old Forum in the Classifieds

That looks to have been corrected. There is a Forums Box to the right of the My Account box

I was going to list my boat today but not the way it looks now.

Yup.. I can go back I guess. But I still need fraking magnifier glasses to read anything. so. OK there was some issues with the old format about pics or whatever. FIX THAT and leave it alone. Who asked for this BS anyway?

Old classified couldn't properly sort by price. Big PITA

Some points to consider in the changes made to the classified.


On the first page you have latest listing on the right side and then you have them all at the bottom( latest listings on the right side didn't match the ones at the bottom so not sure really which one was the latest!) remove the listing from the right side then widen the listings on the page to the right.

Once inside looking at a particular boat model remove featured items, online now and most popular it's redundant from the first page. this will clean up the layout and widen the listings. Then leave the Latest Listing off to the right like it is and keep it as is so it continues to refer to the particular model.

The picture size is inconsistent some ads wider than others due to how your handling pictures it would likely be better to keep picture size to X by X and if you want allow the amount of wording an advertiser puts in to vary the ad width somewhat.

I liked the old one too, but it WAS broke. Ask all the people that hard a REALLY hard time listing ads or adding pics.

Some features are definitely better now. In an ad when you open a pic if you keep clicking it the whole picture set will scroll by click.

i tried to log in and it would not let me,maybe that is why it shows 61 guests and 0 members.

I had no issues logging into my Classified Account just now. Try again and post if you still have issues.

Needs to have ability to go through more than latest 10 listings. That is how I have always caught up on what is new.

The pics were the weak link but now the entire classified section is, not worth my time to browse and I absolutely would not pay to list anything there! Bring back the old format and have someone that knows what they are doing update the photo tool please!

It was the best and easiest to look at. Not so much anymore. Terrible.

Old style might have had issues, fix those, dont change entire layout.

Its time to put the Classifieds back to the way it was.

The old version was hobbled with issues, not to mention there were countless problems with even getting a product listed.

Once all the remaining issues get fixed (it's improving), and everything is polished up, I think we'll all get use to this new version... in the long run it will be more user friendly and a lot less problematic. Give IB and the new format a chance.

+1 on latest listings. Only one page? Ugh.

Ya that really bothers me as well.

If one company list so many boats, you can't even see the others listed prior. The 1 page recent ad's is garbage.

If it's not Broke, Fix it till it is!!!!

I would like to be able to see all of the latest listings with the ability to switch pages. I also miss the prices being right there in the feed of the ad.

Until then, you CAN see all of the adds by using advanced search features. You just choose the SORT drop down and it lets you see them by latest listing or latest updated. The downside is you can only do it each category at once like boats or engines or trucks etc.

I hope they are still tweaking the system.

My biggest complaint is not having a user friendly way to browse all the latest posts. With out that feature you will loose me and countless others. The first thing I did when I came on to this page EVERYDAY, was look at all the latest classified listings to see what was out there, keep tabs on market prices, and see if there was anything (parts, trucks, boats, etc.) worth looking at.

Now with the new version, I will probably only look at it if I need something.
