Any feedback on these Slip on Flappers?
 

I need to replace my exhaust flappers and came across these... anyone have any feedback? Think they are more/less restrictive?

I'm not a fan of those internal rubber flappers vs. stainless butterfly. Doesn't take many hours before they take a set pretty much open, unlike the external rubber flappers you see on straight cut tips..

Those would be a pain in the AZZ to change the flapper when burned out, and it WILL burn out!
How about a set of these? Much easier to replace the internal flap

I would just do the external rubber flappers but I have angle tips... I hear what your saying with the rubber internals though... I went through one metal in one season.

In my setup Mnfastboat it really wouldn't be that hard to change the flapper... its just pop off 4" hose and take the slip on off and its 2 screws. I really dont want to take off my current tip off right now to have a metal one welded on because the last owner 4200 the hell out of sealing up the tips... I would be tearing off gel for sure. The ones you linked above are for 4.5" too...

If you go this route just be sure to check and change them often. Buddy hydrolocked a motor with tips that had a similar internal rubber flapper. Put the wrist pin thru the cylinder wall.
