Sunday May 17th, 2015 South Seaside Park, NJ Boater's Solute to our Vets
I just want to throw this idea out there for anyone that may have their offshore boats all ready for the season.
I am hoping a few people can get together to do a Fly-By at Chef Mike's ABG located at the border of South Seaside Park and Island Beach State Park.
A fundraiser is being held this Sunday from 12-4PM to help raise money for Service Dogs for our Veterans.
As much as we would like to have F16s, with the short time we have had to plan this event it would not be possible.
Being as Chef Mike is a retired offshore racer from Brick, NJ, he thought it would be cool to turn up some offshore engine noise along the beachfront during the event to solute our veterans that will be on hand with their Service Dogs.

Tomorrow is the fundraiser 12PM to 4PM with Paws 4 Vets on the beach at Chef Mike's ABG 24th & Central Ave South Seaside Park, NJ.

UPDATE:
Although no support from the offshore community for a fly-by, instead we were greeted with the United States Coast Guard Fly-By.
I am thrilled to announce $14000 has been raised for Paws4Vets from this event.
We had great weather and a good attendance for an event that was only planned over the last few months.
Approximately 200+ people attended. The food was great as to be expected... A lot of people went home with some awesome gifts.
