Bullet #1 fresh off the dyno. On Nice N Easy non ethanol 91 pump gas she made 673.3 HP @ 5800. I am happy as a clam because when we planned this build out I told Bob I wante 675 hp pump gas motors. Just gotta repeat with the other two and good to go! Special thanks to Jim Bersani @ JBE for the assembly/tuning and to Bob Madera/Marine Kinetics for the package. Timing was at 34 degrees. I don't have the torque or bsfc numbers in front of me as the sheets are still at the dyno. Bullet #2 is going on the pump today and bullet #3 either Saturday or Monday.

If theres one good thing about triples, its nice on a build like this. You going from 1500hp total, to 2000hp total. Should wake the boat up that extra 500hp.

That's if those other tired motors were even making 500 apiece. The center motor never even had a timing tab on it so who knows how or if they ever timed it or where it was at. The port motor had a stuck lifter and a flat cam lobe and the starboard motor had a weeping head gasket. I think this big barge should crack 90 now. It ran 83-84 before.

I think this may be the winner, and please notice I 'liked' this post way back then.

LOL.

If you can't go over, wouldn't the guy that guessed 668 in post #25 be the winner? If you can go over, the mayor guessed 675 in post #40.
