Always liked the US-1 graphics on my '91 42 Fountain but the old girl was starting to look dated and it was time for a makeover. Dropped her off this afternoon at the paint shop and in a week or so I will pick up what will look like a whole new boat to me. She looked huge out of the water before but all white boats look even bigger. I have always loved an all white Fountain and that's what she will be when she comes home. New power, new paint, and hopefully I will keep her for a few more years before I make the leap to a center console.

Picking her up from the paint shop this morning! All that's left is to install the new rubrail insert when it arrives and to slap my three new 548's in her and she will be good for a few more years to come! I thought long and hard about painting the windshield white too but I am so glad I left it black. It totally makes it in my opinion. The only thing we didn't paint was the very top part of the front deck because to do it right we would have to remove the front rails and I didn't have time right now to pull the interior. That will get done this fall and then there will be zero color on it anywhere. We just wet sanded and buffed the top part of the deck. The hatches will get painted at that point too.
