the damn is awesome. if its not busy i'll drive head first all the way to the water and pull a U turn, and then back down. the walk back up it sucks at the end of the weekend though,

Are there plenty of courtesy docks around the ramp? I always like most of the Cumberland marinas since they have plenty of places to put the boat once you launch for a few minutes.

Have a look yourself! :) I use google maps all the time to map out what ramp I use. Use the satellite view and you get great detail. Since I'm pulling over 60 feet I have to plan my launches!
