Rentals are not all what they are cracked up to be. I've been there best thing I did was sell the townhouses I used to own. Easier to flip a property and be done than deal with tenants. Best of luck selling it I'm sure it wont last long.

I'm more worried about the passive income and retirement benefits from it. We have a great rental market. They will be under a property manager and generally B class tenants. Works well down here. I have several friends who do it so I get advice from them also.

Is your place really a 1.2 hour ride from dock to gulf?

Yes. 20 minutes out of canal. Then on plane for a couple miles. The a short manatee zone. Then on plane for a couple more miles then the longest manatee zone. Then on plane again into gulf. Most cape homes are gonna be 40 minutes or more to actually get in the gulf.
