New leftover boat pricing

I told them a few grand over average retail for a used 2008 for being new and get it financed. Now it's up them. Thanks for all the comments and assistance.

Offer him a price consistent with the market for the best 2008 boat you could imagine. If he says your offer sux, you can always offer more, you can't go down!! Nobody has bought the boat so your offer will likely be the best he's had in 7 years....!!

In 1 years, it'll get lost among all the other 2008 boats for sale although it will be the best of them. It's value will quickly merge with all the other similar vintage boats anyway.

Check your warranty on both hull and engine/driveline. Will you get new manufacturers warranty? If so, you should allow a little extra.
