The tri-toons run great at loto. Throw 225-250 behind it, and it really is a great ride.

Beaks and steps have already come to market on them. New play raft has steps in the toons. New wave piercing toons as well. Crazy what they are doing.
I had a 26 play craft powertoon extreme with a 300 on it. Great boat for bar hopping, but I still prefer a real power boat. Loto has lots of variety and that's why we love it.

A few of my friends have Playcrafts that I've rode on and they get around fine....the key is having one with the large diameter tubes.

+1. I'm amazed on how well the tri-toons handle the weekend water at LOTO. Neighbor had one that he put twins on that ran amazingly well. The CCs are still few and far between here, which is arguably a pontoon like deck layout with an offshore hull.

The price point is making pontoons popular and keeping the CC's rare! :D

Lol. This thread cracks me up. I have a 35 ft Fountain that I barley use. Went from a 20 ft Bennington toon to a 25 ft Avolon ambassador tri toon 250 Yamaha. it has a full bar, captain chair. great stereo and is very cool looking with that deco style. I put 4 hours on the Fountain and 40 on the toon. My 20 year old son chooses the toon over the fountain every time he heads out on the lake. at night he heads to the town docks with all the blue led's on.
He says more people check this boat out more than the go-fast ever did!

Have 2 cats and a tri toon and the toon gets used more hands down. Easier to dock, almost zero maintenance, cops rarely look twice, and a lot cheaper to insure not to mention my better half finds it more convenient! However it tows harder than my 33 Daytona as it is like pulling a sail sideways!
