My cousin turned down a job at the World Trade Center one week before 9/11. I thank God every day that I still have him in my life.

This country is way to Lax in allowing people in this country, guess this will be something that our government will never be able to control. What a shame.

My oldest son nears completion of his military training. Next year he will join the fleet in service of our country.

I can't help but be proud of him on this day....

...and ponder the fate which lead me to be born in this great nation.

Frequency, may he serve on a fast ship. Not being a parent myself it is impossible to know what you must feel as your son completes his training and moves closer to what could be a dangerous situation. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
