It looks like to me a 30 Y2K Superboat built in New York is this correct or was this a German Splash of a Superboat ? Also what is the boat next to it with the black snap cover on it ?

And of course I see a Hustler.

Sharp looking boat. Not a fan of the door/steps to the bow, does look like a well thought out design, including the wind to the read seat passengers not having a full windshield. Hopefully we can find out more about it ie: motors, interior, cabin, etc. Great find BUP.

Thanks for the reply, Surely this is not something no one knows about.

I have never seen A Superboat with those seats, colors, sunpad / engine hatch & layout.

I really do not like that much length for a swim platform. What a waste for eating up cockpit space. I understand the transom is forward also eating up cockpit space. The boat looks wider beam than 7 ft also in the pic.

Also would like to know what in the world is the second boat.

BUP it is 100% a Y2K Superboat . I believe it is the one that has the twin turbo's in it 2003-2004 . Looks like its had a recent paint and upholstery job on it . There's been a few that have had larger drop downs put in them . I would have thought that the GIANT decal down the side and on the bow thats says SUPERBOAT would have been the first give a way ,

Feverz29 as for the steps/cabin door they are much needed in a seven foot beam boat . Without them you would have to stand in the seat to get over the windscreen .

Whats way more interesting in that picture is that Larvey craft EVO in the back ground . They are very active in the poker circuit in Germany and there's several videos on youtube of them all running together .

Thanks for the info and your time - I seen Superboat down the side but not without glasses. Just not sure if it was a splash German made over there. I have never seen Bolsters or a sunpad in a SB like that.

My next question is I know length to beam ratio can play a huge part for handling and ill handling so how does a 31.4 length boat with only a 7 beam handle. I would think in hard corning it would have big lean overs and possible could spin out easy or completely roll over. Also how much chine walk takes place with this app carrying only a 7 feet beam.

less hull width in the water I would think balancing the boat is extremely important with this.

Tippy - Kind of like a canoe really comes to mind here - long and very narrow beamed - Just asking because I have never seen a Superboat in person nor been in one but would like to know. .

I do like the boat and their 34 in which has a 8.6 beam..

I love my Y2K in the rough and every event I attend I pray for 3 to 6 footers . I was just telling someone yesterday that I might as well take my trim tabs off because the only time I ever touch them is in the driveway to make sure they still work .
But to answer your question you really don't need to look any further then the OPA results in class 5 . Y2K's pretty much own that class and have for years now .
