Been working with Pat and Chris for over 20 + years they can build anything you need or want. I know the boat well I built it originally for the Ettore team.

That's freakin impressive, and a crap load of work.
LS9 crank stroke - 3.622" LS7 - 4.000"...... Hmmmmmmmm |
Haha, that's awesome. They gave my jet boat a shout-out in the first sentence of the article!

I love it, very interesting rigging and layout, way to go.

anyone thought of putting them in an unlimited hydro? its time to bring the thunder boats back !

We used LS9 steel rods in this build. And an aftermarket LS7steel crank. 12 to 1 pistons and a big cam.
It tough holding the engine WOT running 7200/7400 so we made some changes to keep them happy. We also run 100 octane just to make sure they are good on fuel. Hydros ran our stuff in the 70's and were banned out of h class by Bernie after we were looking to get back in with George Stratton and a 3 speed....Advanced United was one of our boats in the 70's we also did 5L and a few others. Thanks for the kind words it is a fun project. pat W

Cool stuff!! The sound of those motors at high rpm give me a gold boner!
