Cigarette Broke in Half

I herd over the weekend a Cigarette that runs out of the Avalon / Sea isle area cracked in half. Like a 1" split from deck to keel. Anyone have any info on this?

Sounds like the Donzi that jumped the 30' wave!

The OSO Pink Flamingo met a similar fate out in California, but I think it was an older carbon boat.

Was it the old "Offshore Cowboy" boat?

Didn't know Cigs could break. Thought they broke the water underneath them.

In all seriousness, is be interested to see what gave and what we're the water conditions being ran in to do it.

Haven't heard anything. Go to the source and track down what happened or where this originated from.

Never seen a cig split like that, a 38' hustler running back from Catalina in some big water, yes, pink flamingo delam on the bottom after hitting a submerged log, yes...but not a cig split from pounding.
