I really don't know any thing about it. It was being discussed on Lake Cumberland forum as happening recently but several people locals and officials said if it happened it was not recent. There was no recent reports or calls for help.
Like I said really don't know the truth.

Happened Saturday of the 4th of July weekend.

Straight from Marine Assist:

I didn't see anyway around getting the boat that day. Believe me I cringed when he told me where it was. It was really unsafe to leave it, as it was pointed straight up about 2' under the water surface and the swim platform was on the bottom. Not to mention he had a mechanic ready the next day to get it up and running again.

You have to get on them pretty quick if you want to save them.

Apparently we should prepare to feel bad for the next owner

+1 with Unlimited, your either stuck with the boat forever and with its history trying to sell it. I can see it now "does anyone know anything about this boat, it looks like a great deal", response "ya it's the one that sunk". Feel terrible for the owner and my comments were not making fun of the situation because it sucks.

Fresh water, drain the engines and fuel tanks and get it running. As long as its dried out good she should be fine.
