What's up with MGR? So far this hasn't been an SBI season to remember. Ran poorly in Cocoa Beach, didn't run Marathon, and now no-show Michigan City when Geico is the presenting sponsor.

Looks like they have a previous commitment to do tampa boat show .
Being co - governed by a sponsor can cause conflict .They have to promote geico at boat shows as well as races .

Hope we see them in Clearwater.

Does anyone have a good site for weather/wave height, wind????

I really want to go but with a 23' boat and not a lot of experience don't want to get in over my head - no pun intended.

Thanks in advance

Its pretty simple, we ran Cocoa Beach, the boat immediatly left for Long Island Air show, then Seaside, Atlantic City and got home a week before Marathon. We beat her up pretty good and never really had a chance to do maintanance. These were all rough water venues with the exception of Seaside so we never really ran her up over 150 mph. After testing at high speeds(for extended periods of time) for the first time this year We found a issue with Inlet Air temp in Marathon and could not solve in time to start race. We now have a solution but its a redesign of some of our air intake and cooling system. The work is not complete yet. We will be ready for The AC air show and the rest of the season
