It will be my last boat for a while (until I come to grips with $600/mo for a AT Savage down the road). I've been through 5 boats in 4 years trying to get the "right" boat for me, this is right for me now. I ended up with both powerheads, cowls, 2 mids and lowers. I kept imagining a 300xs on the back, but looking at all the hardware in my garage, it's hard to justify a repower right now.

Yeah i know he was pretty firm on his price but the boat is a really nice piece...I loved the bracket, outboard, color combo ETC as well....When i saw the boat was 2 years ago and he wanted alot more money....I think at the most recent price with all the extras the boats well worth it...solid as a rock and so well cared for....What kinda speeds you seeing with it so far??

I think you're going to find that boat is right at home on the Great Lakes. It will absolutely eat 2' - 3's and when it gets even rougher, you'll be amazed what she'll do. I can't tell you how many bigger boats couldn't keep up with my little 22 Progression when it got rough. And 23 years after it left the factory, I still haven't managed to break it!

I bet you wish you would've kept that one. Those pics made my stomach turn when I first saw them.

George- we saw mid 50's with 4 ppl and full fuel, but I haven't driven a pad bottom in a few years and didn't want to freak out the passengers. I didn't get back to MI until 3am yesterday, and as much as I wanted to run it and test props, the wife had other plans.

A. Do I get a sticker?

B. Now that I'm a member, can you point me to the "which prop I should be running" area?

That's the one from Baltimore CL! I talked to another local boater out there that casually knew the boat, he said it was in excellent shape. Congratulations! That thing should carry the mail.
