Im leaving in an hour with an open boat......

A Fort Myers speedboat company is gearing up for a record-breaking journey to Cuba.

It wants to break a 50-year-old world record for the fastest boat crossing between Key West and Havana, wanting to reach Cuba in just an hour Saturday.

Im sticking to lake erie...you florida freaks have fish that eat people...

I would roll with you in a minute if I was closer. She (Avanti) was flying level from the pics I saw. I generally won't take out the fast cat unless winds are above 10 mph and three foot seas! Go get you some brother!!!

Wow...fly to The Islands via Avanti Air! If I had the day off, that would be fun. Last time I took a Friday off - it was to head up to Boyne...

Glassdave would probably go if he could, but from what I heard he's still seeing a nephrologist from the last trip in Air Avanti.
