I would recommend a requirement to members posting anything in the classifieds must have photos. Whether it's a sales tactic, it doesn't benefit perspective buyers. There have been numerous threads about this subject. I wasn't sure if this was the correct place to make this type of request.

Some classified advertising columns provide an option with your search criteria to show "only adds with photos".
I always tick this box. If the advertiser is too lazy to take a couple of nice photos or maybe he's not confident about how the item will look, then I don't want to read his add.
My 2 cents.

Good example, just new in the classifieds, this might be a sensational boat but IMO the add is wasted......

Moderators do not control the Classifieds.
Personally, if somebody wants to pay to post a Classified ad without a pics, that's on them.
Also, a lot of times people upload pics a few days after the ads are posted.

Thanks Griff, but who controls the site? I would have and should have directed my thread there. Thanks again for the clarification. Whoever controls any site has the ability not to let something get posted unless certain fields are completed.

There is a fee to post an ad. If the seller chooses to make an incomplete ad, well that's on them.
