Hmmm, is this going to affect boating on Lakes Havasu, Mead or Powell....?

This is bad news all the way around......starting here in the rocky mountains and finding it's way all the way to the coast. How do you clean up toxic sediment from the bottom of lake Powell anyway? Answer........you can't. This will take years to mitigate and will affect local business, fishing, and recreation for years to come. I don't think we have even begun to see the ramifications of this yet. Truly sad, and like others have said, the EPA will just downplay it's severity and tell everyone it is under control and contained.

The only bright side I think is when it does reach lake Powell maybe it will settle out to the bottom where it can lie undisturbed and be covered by future layers of silt. The river seems a whole other problem, every rainstorm is going to kick up a bunch of that crap all over again as it migrates downstream.
